Kaminey Music is Average

You loved the music of – Omkara, Makdee, Maqbool. Trust Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar to come up with music that is different and sets up new milestones in terms of experimentation.

Kaminey, the Album will sway you with its title track ‘Dhan Te Nan‘. The song starts with single-string guitar plucking ala Quentin Taratino’s Pulp Fiction and then some more. Gulzar always playful with words - til til tara mira teli ka tel – balances the music with beautifully penned lyrics. This is a track one will end up crooning more than once.

Yeh ishq nahi aassaan, ajee AIDS kaa khatraa hai.
Patwaar pahan jaana , yeh aag ka dariya hai.

Sadly the album looses the tempo after the first track. Fatak, Kaminey, Pehli Baar Mohabbat, Raat Ke Dhai Baje are different and situational tracks.

But I wont add these tracks to my play-list.
